The Venue
The Grange at Camblesforth Hall comprises of four newly renovated barns surrounding a spacious courtyard.
The Courtyard
The Courtyard is an impressive space that can be personalised to you and your wedding. With its silver birch trees, elegant seating and coach lights the courtyard is the perfect open air venue for your drinks reception.
Whether you are dreaming of a Champagne wall, a giant hog roast, a fun fair or a festival feel, the courtyard can accommodate almost anything. The large gates provide vehicle access directly into the courtyard, perfect for those wanting to bring in a gin van, street food vendors or anything else!
The Coach House
This double story space is the perfect setting for your Wedding Ceremony. With its majestic high ceiling, stunning beams, drapes and ethereal lighting, including our cartwheel chandelier, the Coach House is where your journey into married life begins.
If you are having your ceremony in Selby Abbey, or one of the beautiful local churches then the ceremony barn can be used for an impressive entrance to your reception and photographs or for your drinks reception in case of poor weather.
The Hemmel Barn
Adorned with drapes, fairy lights, rustic chandeliers and authentic period detailing, The Hemmel Barn will wow your guests for your Wedding Breakfast. Whether you want a traditional 3-course meal, a hog roast, sharing platters or something completely different, this space can be made your own to fit in perfectly with your Wedding vision.
We provide tables and seating for up to 100 people, either on long or round tables and can set up the room however you wish.
The Poultiggery
Leading off from the Hemmel Barn is the Poultiggery Bar. With its unique blend of rustic glamour with a steampunk edge, the Poultiggery Bar provides the perfect venue for your evening reception. Equipped with a fully stocked bar, hand made on site from reclaimed barrels for your evening reception. (This can be extended to the afternoon if required).
The Cartshed
Linked to the Poultiggery Bar is The Cart Shed, where you and your guests can dance the night away!
The Cart Shed is an open space that you can completely make your own. Whether you want a full band, a DJ set up or both, there is plenty of space for everyone to pull out their favourite dance moves!
A door to the rear of the Cart Shed provides access for your evening entertainment to enter and set up without disturbing you and your guests.

The Snug
A cosy area for those wanting to have a bit of a quieter space in which to relax. As well as soft lighting, comfy sofas and luxurious wallpaper, it also has a white wall onto which you can project images from your time together as a couple, or a film to entertain your younger guests.

Our in-house coordinator to ensure everything runs smoothly for your day
The coordinator will:
Help you create a timeline for your day
Liaise with your suppliers prior to your wedding as well as on the day itself
Meet with you during set up the day before, finalise details and do a walk through with you
Meet your suppliers on the day of your Wedding to ensure they are placed correctly
Remain with you for the duration of your Wedding day, until the last formality is complete, orchestrating every last detail to ensure everything runs perfectly to plan.
